The Garmin charplotter menu bar is located at the bottom of the screen. To hide it, just click on the gear icon and choose preferences > menu bar display > auto setting.
It will take a few seconds for the main screen to update and hide the menu bar. To display the menu bar again, just swipe up to show the menu bar again.
