There are three methods: Go To, Route To, or Auto Guidance.
Go To: It will take you directly from point A to point B without any turns and avoid obstacles.
Route To: It will allow you to add turns to avoid obstacles from the starting point to the destination.
Auto Guidance: With a compatible premium chart, a Garmin-compatible chartplotter provides a turn-by-turn navigation with a path to the destination, and avoids obstacles.
