Garmin chartplotters are remote data configurable with GRID (Garmin Remote Input Data) devices. With GRID devices, yacht owners can safely control functions and features of the Garmin chartplotter while walking around their yachts. Yacht owners are confined only to their helm stations throughout yachting trips. GRID devices are powered by batteries or from NMEA 2000 Networks.
